This project aims to improve the current broadband supply in the underserved areas of the special purpose association with the help of a fiber optic network infrastructure (FTTB) and to close existing supply gaps sustainably and comprehensively, particularly in commercial and residential areas. As part of the broadband expansion, around 10,500 buildings and 660 kilometers of underground construction will be connected to the fiber optic network.

As part of this project to expand the fiber optic network infrastructure (FTTB) in the Angeln broadband association, MRK Media AG is primarily responsible for the HOAI service phases 3-9 for

• structural planning,
• Approval planning,
• implementation planning,
• Preparation of the awarding of the construction services,
• Support and organization of the contract award,
• Project supervision (site management and local construction supervision)
