In the period between 2017 and 2020, MRK Media AG contributed to broadband development as a general contractor in a large number of individual expansion areas throughout southern Germany. This involved connecting multifunctional cabinets, which are a maximum of 550 meters away from the respective operating site, to the fibre optic network. As a result, a download speed of up to 250 Mbit/s can be achieved using super vectoring. As the general contractor, MRK Media AG is responsible for the approval planning and technical planning as well as for the construction work and system commissioning.
