The aim of the project is to build an FTTB/H broadband infrastructure in the area of the Zweckverband Breitband Marsch und Geest (ZBMG) northwest of Hamburg within the district of Pinneberg. MRK Media AG is responsible for construction supervision and project management across all service phases in order to achieve a reliable and efficient provision of passive fiber optic infrastructure by all project participants.

A total of 2,702 households will be made gigabit-capable for the connection and 149 kilometers of underground construction will be completed. In addition, 12 schools and 41 companies will be connected. The area, which is divided into five clusters, will be successively expanded and progress will be monitored by MRK Media AG. At the end of the project, more than 80% of the connections in the project area will be supplied with 100 Mbit/s or more.
